The Society published a set of technical updates yesterday to increase speed, improve the vacation rental inquiry process, and reduce the processing load to view a page. Here are some of the highlights from this update:
Home, search, and vacation rental pages now down to 1/3 the original file size, and load up to 2 to 8 times faster! One-size-fits-all script libraries were removed and replaced with home built scripts. User experience has been improved as a result.
The Vacation Rental Inquiry process was streamlined. A new design, email communications, and ticketing system enhancements allow for top notch customer support.
Improvements were made to the search features.
Bugs were fixed throughout the website.
