Telluride is a quaint and European-style town located in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. It is nestled amidst the highest concentration of 14ers in North America, and is a frequent retreat for celebrities because of its remarkable beauty and rich Victorian heritage.
The Telluride Ski Resort is an impressive ski destination, with 1700 acres of skiable terrain, 92 trails and 309 inches of annual snowfall. The mountain is only 24% beginner, so it is more equipped for the intermediate to advanced skier, but there are a few select trails for those just starting out.
Telluride provides more than just skiing, it also has plenty of unique mountain activities such as glider rides, winter-fly fishing and dog-sledding. For those who prefer to stay off the mountain, the village of Telluride is just as alluring as its mountain. It alone brings in tourists who come to see a town that is seemingly untouched by the outside world, but still excels in luxury.
For a sumptuous vacation in accommodations, services, dining, and scenery, Telluride cannot be beat.
