Located in Carlsbad, just north of San Diego, La Costa Resort has been providing exceptional golf experiences to its visitors for decades. La Costa is home to two professional-quality courses called the North Course and the South Course. Both courses are gorgeous and of a traditional design, and golfers can expect to encounter wide fairways, elevated greens that are protected beautifully by many bunkers, and water hazards that play a factor on several holes. La Costa is also an easy-to-walk course, but caddies are required if golfers choose to walk. Golf Magazine has recognized the facility at La Costa as one of their Silver Medal Resorts, and they named the South Course the 99th best on their list of the Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S., in 1996. La Costa is also the proud host of the Accenture Match Play Championship and the Mercedes Championship, which is the first PGA tournament of the year.
