Description
Copper Creek was built at 9,700 feet which makes it the highest full-length course in North America. Pete and Perry Dye designed Copper Creek with a use of diverse natural terrain which provides golfers with a unique and enjoyable golf experience. This course is a mix of links-style and mountain-style, and golfers of Copper Creek must maneuver through the natural alpine landscape and negotiate with several lakes and streams. This course also takes golfers through what is left of an old mining town from the 19th century. Copper Creek is also not short on impressive views, as the course offers magnificent sights of the 10 Mile Mountain Range.

Go somewhere else unless you're just looking for a stroll in the mtns ... but if that's all you want go on a proper hike.

I'm bummed to say that there is much to be desired at this course. Maybe it's because the other courses around Copper are so much better (The Raven, Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail), but I left disappointed.

The course was in bad condition, there were a few beautiful holes but nothing spectacular, and the driving range was on a parking lot!

All that being said, if you're looking for a little track to hit the small ball around and not spend as much as $$ as with the other courses then this is your spot.
