Brookside Golf Course is located in Pasadena next to the hugely popular Rose Bowl stadium. The facility features two 18-hole courses called, the Number One Course and the Number Two Course. The Number One Course is known for its very big and very elevated greens. There are also many ponds which work as hazards on over half of the holes. Golfers of this course should expect thick rough and well-protected greens. The Number Two Course has even more bunkers protecting the greens, and the fairways are known to be very narrow. However, the Number Two Course is not as long as Number One, and the terrain is mostly flat. Brookside has hosted a variety of tournaments including the 1969 L.A. Open and the National Public Links Championship.
