Arnold Palmer used a variety of styles including mountain and links styles to create this course which was constructed through the Brush Creek Valley. Though the fairways are fairly wide and the greens are huge, golfers of all handicaps will find challenges on this course, as there are a large number of water hazards that will force golfers to play conservatively on some occasions. In this Rocky Mountain, high altitude setting of 6,600 feet above sea level, golfers will have fantastic views of the Sawatch Mountains, and for golfers not familiar with courses at altitude, players can expect their shots to travel 10 percent farther at Eagle Ranch.
