You have the vacation rental software companies like Instant Software, Escapia, Barefoot, Real Time Rentals, and LiveRez. All have their pros and cons and as with all software companies there is no perfect solution. They are all working tirelessly on improving their product(s) and that process never ends ... Bill Gates can testify to that!
As far as our involvement with software companies, we are trying to work with them but there are costs associated with it and in some cases the benefits do not outweigh the costs.
