Resort Description
With 146 runs spread throughout 4 interconnected mountains, Breckenridge is one mountain that you cannot fully cover in one day, and probably not even in one weekend, leaving you with plenty to do! Not only can Breckenridge claim the largest historic district in Colorado but it is also home to several peaks with great back bowl skiing and tons of powder skiing making it the second largest mountain in Summit County.
Peak 7 is full of blue runs and nothing else, perfect for intermediate skiers. However on the top of Peak 7 opens a bowl with more severe chutes and vertical slopes. Peak 8 houses the large country wide acclaimed freestyle park paired with another park there for beginners. As a whole, the peak offers skiing for every level skier. Peak 9 is full of blues, greens, and terrain parks. Finally, Peak 10 is reserved for expert snowboarders and skiers only complete with trees, bumps, and jumps.
If you want something to do after skiing or for those who do not ski, Breckenridge offers activities such as snowmobiling, ice skating, dogsledding, a live theater, and historic tours. Breckenridge offers everything from laid back, cozy bars, mirco-brews, and restaurants to energetic night clubs to a bit more expensive destinations. The town of Breckenridge is alive with many tasty restaurants, bars, and shops for everyone.
