Copper Mountain is located just 75 miles from Denver in-between the Ten Mile and Gore wilderness ranges. This is a great ski destination for any level skier or snowboarder. The mountain was cleverly designed to separate those who are at different levels of ability to promote comfort and convenience. Provided with this knowledge, quite a bit of the mountain is oriented towards advanced skiers. Copper also has a terrain park that, just like its mountain, is separated into beginner, intermediate, and advanced areas. Those looking for more of an open-bowl ski or ride, all one has to do is head over to the backside of the mountain. Equipped with high-speed lifts, there are plenty of runs on the backside allowing for lots of great skiing. Come prepared for anything as Copper is known for being windy with instable weather conditions. Copper Mountain also has great restaurants, shops, and other outdoor activities nearby. Everyone should make a trip to Copper Mountain because it is an amazingly crafted mountain. |
