This one of a kind Victorian home was originally built in 1902 by a Breckenridge legend, George C. Evans. It is the one of the largest Victorian homes in Breckenridge with six bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is updated but still very quaint, not taking away from the historic charm. This house is located right in the heart of town, just steps away from all of the shopping, restaurants and bars that Breckenridge has to offer. The ski shuttle picks up right in front of the house a few times an hour. This house is a great vacation home that could fit up to three families of four.
History of the Heritage House: George C. Evans came over to Breckenridge to bring his placer mining technology. He built the home in 1902 and it originally had a theater off of the existing dining room. He was quite wealthy due to his mining technology that he cultivated over in Europe and Africa. Due to his wealth he was the first person in town to ever have a car. George, his wife Mini, his daughter, and their pet monkey lived in this house in Breckenridge for six years before moving away. Breckenridge will never forget this eccentric man and the contribution that he made to the mining community of the early 1900s.
