BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath luxury home is located in the Cascade Ridge area at Big Sky Resort. It is very rare to find this level of luxury and privacy at a ski-in ski-out property – and at an affordable price. With 3 acres surrounding the home you’ll enjoy unobstructed views of Lone Peak. When arriving at the home in the winter, the first thing you'll notice is the heated parking area, so you won't have to walk through the snow to enter the house. The home has a large outdoor deck, private hot tub, game room, exercise room, private office and much more.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
The master suite is the one bedroom on the main level of the home. It has a king size bed, gas fireplace, TV and door out to the deck. The large master bath has a jetted tub and separate shower with a rainwater showerhead. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one with a queen size canopy bed and a bunkroom with two sets of bunk beds. Each of these second story rooms has a bench at the window, a great place to sit and take in the mountain views. These two rooms share a bath in the hall with a tub/shower combo. In the walkout basement there are two additional bedrooms, each with king size beds. There are two baths on this level, one with a tub/shower combo and the other with a stall shower. There is a sofa bed in the office, allowing the home to accommodate up to 12 guests.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen has high-end appliances and granite counter tops. You’ll find all the amenities you need to prepare meals for a large group, including a 6-burner GE Monogram stove, an oversized refrigerator and a large harvest sink. There is a large gas grill just outside on the deck. Access to the garage and full laundry room are just down the hall.
DINING AREA:
The dining room sits 10 guests with extra seating at the bar for 4 more. In the summer there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your meals from the deck.
GAME ROOM:
The large lower level game room has a billiards table, foosball, and seating for watching TV. There is a gas fireplace, a great collection of DVDs and a good collection of books and board games. You can access the hot tub and the very private back lawn from this room.
OFFICE & EXERCISE ROOM:
Two other rooms complete the lower level. The office has a large desk for folks that need to work during their vacation as well as a queen size sofa sleeper for groups that need some extra sleeping space. The exercise has an elliptical, a stationary bike and a couple of benches with a few free weights. It also has a TV so you have some entertainment while you are doing your workout.
SETTING & VIEWS:
The Alpine Treehouse is privately nestled in the trees on 3 acres above Big Sky. Aside from one neighbor through the trees below the house and one neighbor above, you’ll feel like you’re on the mountain alone. There are magnificent views of Lone Peak and down to Big Sky Resort.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES:
There are two separate decks on the main level of the home each with plenty of outdoor furniture. The outdoor grill is located on a covered patio just off the kitchen and is a great place to prepare outdoor meals in any weather. Downstairs, from the walkout basement you can access a large lawn and outdoor hot tub.
ACTIVITIES NEARBY:
In the winter you’ll enjoy skiing at Big Sky Resort right from the home. Moonlight Basin can be accessed from Big Sky or by a very short drive. There is also Nordic skiing nearby, and over-snow trips into nearby Yellowstone National Park. In the summer enjoy world-class hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails. There is fishing on the Gallatin River just a short drive away, horseback riding, golf, and everything that the towns of Big Sky, West Yellowstone and Bozeman have to offer.
CLOSEST TOWN & AIRPORT:
You are about a 10 minute drive to Big Sky’s Meadow Village, with a couple of good general stores and a variety of dining options. It’s about a one-hour drive to both Bozeman’s Gallatin Field airport and West Yellowstone.

You’ll receive a complimentary security deposit waiver so you don’t have to pay a security deposit. Your home is completely prepped before you arrive and fully cleaned after your stay – at no charge to you. For guests who stay twelve nights or more, a weekly cleaning is also included. Additional housekeeping can all be arranged with a bit of prior notice. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, include good quality bed and bath linens, staples like paper goods, laundry and dish washing supplies, and our signature Mountain Home hand soaps. You just bring your gear and the groceries!
