The North Coast of California is drastically different than that of Southern California, as luxury here is all about vineyards, wine and fine food. There is more space to breathe in this area and the emphasis is on land and living the sweet life of the California countryside. The North Coast contains the opulent countryside towns of Napa Valley and Sonoma, and is aimed more towards an adult crowd; children will probably not be as intrigued by this area. For a getaway of wine, cheese, relaxation and the beautiful California landscape, the North Coast is a wonderful way to escape.
